You'll hear her! What appears to be some sort of "manager" is such a rude person it should not be left anywhere near customers: I happened to walk in over a year ago on my own in an empty café; not only was I left to wait until I walked out, I had the difficult task of listening to that "woman" insulting her customers as a whole to a supplier on the phone, the whole conversation full of "f" words to name just one. Customers, apparently from that conversation, really are awkward (nicely put by me) and get on her nerves. I heard the conversation as it was said out loud without a care for me being sitting there, waiting. I also heard it because this "woman", as you will spot if you are unlucky enough to have to stop there, can be heard from any corner of the café, for her voice is the loudest, may it be a quiet or the busiest time of the day. I returned the other day for breakfast... (I might be a slow learner) Knowing what I wanted to order, I walked into the quiet (at the time) café and ordered a breakfast (one specific breakfast on the menu, no fuss). I waited and waited as the café was getting busier. Came in to his shift a male waiter... Still, I was left waiting. He passed me many times, looking at me in the eyes and completely ignoring me. After listening to the private stories of the waiter and of the " manager", I decided, after waiting about 15 minutes, that if a certain couple newly sat down would be served before me, I would ask... When I stood up to go, the waiter asked me if I had ordered (no chance of a "hello", let alone a smile). I repeated what I had told the " manager". He went and checked in the kitchen. He asked his 2 colleagues (including that "manager") and they clearly shook their heads to confirm that my order had not been put through. He said he could send the order through now and have it ready in 5 minutes. I replied I had waited long enough and that I think I should leave it. " Okay then" with a grin was the reply I got. That "manager" had no problem lying by shouting " the order is on the way" as I was turning my back to leave. I normally write my posts in 3 languages but I think I have wasted enough time on this one, knowing nothing will probably be done, although I would love to get a reply from the owner (not the rottweiler-manager obviously). To finish my story, I had a lovely breakfast in the Centra around the corner for a competitive price, served there and then.
