  Was fairly good when I first started going there a few years ago but quality has really dropped off and customer service is appalling. I recently went to buy their usually reliable apple tart for a lunch we were hosting but they looked below par that day so I opted for a much more expensive almond/berry tart (what most bakeries would call a frangipane). Unfortunately it was incredibly chewy and none of our guests could finish even a small slice. I returned the unsliced half of the tart to the bakery and was informed that the (very nice) in store staff could not handle complaints and that "She" would have to be informed. I was not told who "She" was but I left my name and number in vain hope of a call and maybe even an apology. That was a Tuesday and not having heard a thing I stopped in the shop the following Saturday to see what the story was. The young lady in the shop said she would call "She" again. Finally late on Saturday afternoon "She" called and asked me if I had ever eaten that kind of tart before and informed me that "they" had tasted the portion that I had returned and found it to be perfect... End of story. Not good enough. I could overlook an occasional poorly cooked tart but I cannot overlook such appalling customer service. I will never be back.

  An fortunate enough to live across the road from Bakelicious so go in regularly, thier brown and sourdough breads are amazing!

  Delicious Breads, the cakes are ok. I got the carrot cake yesterday and it was very soggy.

  Really good bakery. Haven't tried their breads but the cakes are really good. Almond croissants are amazing.
