  Lacking some magazines and water in the waiting area. At all my appointments so far I needed to wait at least 20 minutes which is annoying. Doctors are average for Ireland. Would be nice if they could be more human and friendly :)

  Just got off the phone to one of the ignorant receptionists I have ever come across. I have been attending the medical centre since I was a baby and to say it has gone down hill is an under statement. Was looking for a letter to state the injury i had and they wanted me to pay 300.00. Actually cannot believe this. She was extremely abrupt on the phone, I have always found the Medical Centre very helpful but lately they are a disgrace. A lot of the time they are dealing with very ill people, to crack a smile or even say how are you doesn't take much. Shame on you. To the other receptionists you guys are lovely, I won't mention as this particular receptionist knows who she is.

  I rang this practise this morning to arrange an appointment for a sibling who was in a lot of pain. I may not have been eligible to make an appointment for my sibling, which I understand is fair, considering they are not our family doctor. However, the receptionist on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was actually taken aback by her level of professionalism or lack thereof. It is disappointing that when people are under pressure to get help for loved ones, that they are greeted with such an unnecessary tone. I understand that it may have been a bad day, morning etc, as we all have, however when I attempted to continue in a polite tone with the receptionist, I was met with further impatience. I never got as far as making an appointment, as I was told, they were taking on, no new patients, therefore I can not review the rest of the practise. This review refers only and directly to the person I spoke to on the phone.
