  Had an excellent self-defence class with Paul Carroll. He was very patient but thorough in his teachings. Would definitely recommend all young women undertake one of his classes.

  Best Taekwon-do academy in the town ran by Paul Carroll. My son was very shy and nervous beginning with Paul and he has really brought him out of his shell. He cares so much for all the children in the class and puts 100% effort into each and everyone of the children. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the class so much that I began the classes myself and am about to do my first grading. Couldn't recommend Mr Carroll enough, without a doubt the best instructor in the town who puts the children before anything 😁

  We moved to Ireland last year and wanted some good activity for our daughters. Our neighbors recommended Taekwondo with Master Donnelly. We didn't know about Taekwondo at all and our English was (and is) not the best, but Master Donnelly and the rest of the team made us feel very welcomed from the very beginning and helped us through the whole process. The girls were and are delighted with the classes, they made lots of new friends and feel integrated. We, as parents, feel they are learning more than a sport, they are learning about themselves, their capabilities, their weaknesses and strengths, how to set boundaries, how to respect others... Also we asked Master Donnelly for advice on some parenting issues we had, and they gave us the best orientation and support. I strongly recommend this academy if you want to learn, enjoy and self develop, yourself and your kids!

  My eldest son has been a student of Master Donnelly for the past five years and my youngest has been one for more than two. In that time they have not only learned an invaluable form of self-defence but also discipline, respect (both for themselves and others) and the value of hard work. Master Donnelly manages to impart a vital life skill to his students while maintaining a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Perhaps the best endorsement I can give is to relate how my eldest son was attacked by a bully on his very first day of secondary school. Thanks to the training he has received he was able to defend himself and, as you can imagine, the bully hasn't gone near him since. Taekwondo isn't merely a sport or a martial art, it is a life skill that every child should be given and I can think of nowhere better to learn than at Elite Taekwondo Academy.
