  We engaged Bartholomew McElhatton to sell our house in Glasnevin. I had met him at other properties he was selling around the city and found his approach to be thoroughly professional yet very different. So when we needed an auctioneer, we contacted Bart and we are very glad we did. He was there, in person, every step of the way. His knowledge of how the market works and the use of technology and social media in the sales process was very refreshing and impressive. The video he made of the property had real impact I think and then bids just started coming in. He kept us informed regularly and advised us frequently on the dynamics of the whole process. When it came to acceptance of final offers, he advised well and the whole process then just went through in a very straightforward way. This was no accident and we give full credit to Bart. We were also very pleased with the price achieved. He was also not in any hurry to get the property off his books. His priority was doing the best for us, I’m certain.   I was selling a property and Bart McElhatton came highly recommended through a friend I trusted. I am very pleased I went with my friend’s recommendation.   I couldn't recommend Bartholomew McElhatton highly enough if you are selling your house. He advised me on how best to present my house for sale, he generated a huge level of interest and most importantly he achieved a price way above what I was expecting and above what similar houses in the area were attracting. I was amazed at the number of people who turned up for viewings. This was due in large part to the great video he made, showing the house to best advantage. His professionalism and his negotiating skills would be hard to match. I have no hesitation in recommending this agency to anyone.

  Over the past year I was a tenant at one of Bartholomew's properties. He has good communication in person and comes across friendly and professional, but I found his communications skills away from face to face interaction were non existent. It took over 5 weeks from ending my tenancy to get my deposit back. This seems to be down to miscommunication\non communication with the apartments owners. He didn't reply to emails or multiple text messages I sent to him. He only picked up the phone when I dialed from a private number. I was incredibly patient at a stressful time of the year trying to find a new apartment while waiting for my deposit completely in the dark. This patience was treated with disrespect.

  Bartholomew Mc Elhatton. A name that is forever etched in our memory for all the right reasons! This estate agent was recommended by an old friend to whom we are eternally grateful. We met with Bartholomew and discussed our needs and wants, Bartholomew then advised us of the path he would escort us down on the sale of our home. He spoke of technology that he uses to great avail, but what struck us was his blatant honesty, and his attention to the most minute detail.
