::A huge factor for booking our stay was to use the swimming pool facilities as a family activity. However, when we arrived and enquired opening times, we were told there was renovation works and its not available. We later looked for reviews online whilst on our stay and became sceptical when anyone who mentioned using the pool last was 2017. Not good enough, I assume hasn't been open for some time. Very dissappointing that its mentioned on every website they are advertised on. Two stars for room size and staff we're pleasent. Dont book for pool facilities without confirming beforehand.

::Dated and in bad need of a good make over, however the staff were nice and the bar food was decent and reasonable. We only stayed 1 night. When we went for our breakfast and while waiting to be seated, we noticed a customer at the breakfast counter, lifting the bacon by his hands and the setting it back down again, for others! He was also lifting food and eating it as he went along. I didn't really mind him lifting it with his hands, if he had set it on his plate and not back for others. We pointed this out to the lady serving the tables and asked, if she could replace the bacon. The lady gladly done this and was very pleasant. My son, who is came along with us to Donegal and the hotel kindly let us add him to our room, with just a extra €20,00 cost, which most hotel would make you book another room.

::Very nice spot hotel, facing to beautiful killibegs harbour. Beautiful breakfast and super friendly staffs. At weekend a little bit noisy from the crowd at the main road. Over all its a very nice place to stay, we even extended our stay.
