The staff here are kind professional and dedicated to their profession. I have been going to them for years with lots of small animals, including some strays. Beaufield are very charitable and I have recommended them to many.

Takes great care of the animals, and really that's all one can ask for from a vet.

""Words from UK and Ireland renowned vet "Brian Jones" on the waffles from the vet on the rte programme. It is nearly impossible to see blood as thick as tar in a greyhound .The main cause of this would be dehydration caused by disease or excessive exercise especially in an unfit dog .i would demand to see the evidence as in blood tests etc .I doubt very much if this particular man sees many racing greyhounds .""

Finbarr, Laura and the team at Beaufield have been vets for us at PAWS Animal Rescue since 1999. Over the years they have saved many, many lives that otherwise may have been lost. As a rescue, we have had dogs from some pretty awful situations some with terrible injuries, but the team at Beaufield have worked tirelessly, many times above & beyond the call of duty to restore them to full health

Picked up a stray dog. Obviously been out for a while. No chip. No collar. Very underweight and had fleas and a chesty cough. Very weak and scared. I took it to beaufield where they verified it had no chip. Before they would assess the dog they insisted I fill in an ownership form. I explained that I took the dog off the road before it got run over and that I wasn't the owner. I was then asked "well who is going to pay for the treatment?" - while I understand this to a certain extent. The fact that I am not the dogs owner I was very surprised that there was no waiving of any part of the €100 bill for treatment and 5 drugs which apparantly the dog "needed". There was also a €45 consultation fee. My feeling is that the consultation fee could have been at least waived considering I was not the owner and brought in a dog in Poor health. I've spoken to another vet and was told that they would have waived the fee. Not impressed or going back.
