I remember this place from years ago! Cherry logs, almond rings and SO much more. Place was packed but loads of room! And its still as great as years ago if not better! Lad serving was so nice. And funny.

Food was OK. I had the Eggs Benedict which wasn't the warmest and eggs a little hard but the bread, ham and sauce were lovely. My colleague had the avocado toast which was very good. Service wasn't very good unfortunately. Our waitress was quite abrupt and not very friendly. The atmosphere was good and the place was very busy. The pastries look amazing. I will definitely go back to try these.

I passed these premises on a Sunday morning and was glad I stepped in. I was immediately welcomed by helpful waiting staff. I had a cafetiere of tasty coffee and a variety of scone that I had not come across before - Raspberry and White Chocolate. It was served with cream and jam and was very tasty. The downstairs toilets were extremely clean and it was interesting to be able to observe the pastry chefs at work. An enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it.

My wife and I visited on 9 July 2019. We Googled for an historic cafe in Dublin as we wanted a drink and something to eat. This place came up on my search so we came here and we are pleased we did. The cafe itself looks incredible from the outside, inside is even more impressive. We sat down and ordered an Irish coffee (only after 11am) and I had the Mixed Berry Danish and my wife had the Bewley's Apple Pie. Our waiter (Harry Clarke) who was very polite and very professional bought coffee to table and explained how the cream is poured on top of the coffee. The coffees were delicious and my wife commented that it's the best she has ever had, and even after 30 minutes she said she had a nice taste from it. My wife said her pie was delicious and she was pleased she ordered. It filled her up. My mixed berry danish was incredible and delicious. It is very rare I eat pastries. This was so nice and it wasn't too sweet, just perfect. When we finished we went to look downstairs where the baking is done (there is a viewing area) and looked more around the restaurant (3 floors). As i mentioned earlier, the inside is incredible. We absolutely recommend this establishment to eat, drink, and relax.

We loved it! Went there for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we stepped through the door and where brought to a nice table on a balcony. We then realized how huge the place is and how well decorated. Our waiter was extremely friendly and nice, taking good care of us and other customers on the balcony. Food was very delicious! We ordered different stuffs but were all really satisfied with our choices. My personal highlight was the bakery. You can see the bakers prepare bread and pastry through a wide glass wall. Was really nice!
