  Just had a new bathroom put it. What a super job from BTW. It's nicer than a "showroom" bathroom. We are so happy with it. Love our bathroom suite and our Tiles, all purchased from Btw. And the guys who put it in where brilliant. So neat and tidy aswell as professional. We are delighted with it and would highly recommend BTW. Thanks a mill. Denise

  We requested the main bathroom be changed into a wetroom, and that the ensuite and the downstairs toilet be completely refurbished. So three rooms in total. It is possible to select all the fittings and all the tiles and BTW look after every detail from the plumbing to the electrics. If indicated in advance they will also fit parts the customer has sourced themselves and only charge for the labour (we sourced a Japanese bath). To get everything done took two weeks. A useful extra item was that they added a pump and mixer (fair bit of piping etc) to interface between our solar tube heated water tank where the temperatures can exceed 70 degrees and the bathrooms. For the wetroom they use a plywood base, a waterproof matting, a preformed tray and copious tanking. My own view would be it might be time for BTW to make use of more modern materials like Wedi board and use less tanking. That said, the cutting edge wet room specialists provided incomplete quotes for the ensuite/downstairs toilet and evinced a lack of enthusiasm for doing anything besides a wet room. So in terms of giving us what we wanted and being flexible, BTW were best. There were a couple of items outstanding (as there invariably will be) but BTW promptly responded to any item we mentioned and they were sorted within two weeks of the end of the job. As I’m a nitpicker a few areas where there might be room for improvement would be: 1. The quotation lists all the parts and the general job. I’d like a single paragraph description of the job (just so it’s clear that there is to be two or four spotlights etc). This clarifies what has been agreed and so protects the customer and BTW when it comes to deciding what is extra and what not (this was provided on request). 2. Not to be too precious about stripping out plasterboard. For critical areas a material like Wedi (or similar) is better than tanking. 3. Where holes are knocked outside the house, make sure the small areas surround the pipes are filled in neatly. 4. The apprentices need to be careful where they throw the water outside after cleaning tiles. If it splashes it stains things and is a nuisance to clean.
