::After reading Sarah and Margaret's reviews, I decided to book an appointment with Niall, I had not been for checkup for about 3 yrs, and had developed a phobia. On my initial consultation, Niall was able to put my mind at rest, and devised a treatment plan for me, I needed a good few fillings and a first visit was arranged. I can only say that he was excellent, it was a back tooth, he talked me through every stage, it was a deep filling, and because he used very strong anestethic, I had no pain. On my second visit, he rebuilt a front tooth which I thought I might lose, once again, Niall talked me through the process, it looked like a new tooth! I have to agree with the previous reviews, I found Niall to be the finest Dental Surgeon I have been to and would recommend 'Burren Dental Practice' 100%

::Dr Niall McCarthy is a fantastic dentist. I have always had a fear of going to the dentist because of bad experiences in the past but Dr Niall McCarthy made me feel at ease straight away. He was reassuring and talked me through every step of my treatment. I couldn't believe that an injection and filling could be pain free but it was. He even gave me fantastic advise about caring for my teeth to prevent further problems. I highly recommend him.

::Dr. McCarthy is the best dentist I met in my whole life. After botched root canal done when I was 12 I had a terrible fear of dentists. My very sensitive teeth didn't respond well to anesthesia and every cavity done I was in a real pain. Most dentist didn't mind and even if they saw that I was in pain, they didn't care. That was a massive problem for me. When I met Dr. McCarthy, he put me immediately at ease, patiently explained what he will be doing and most importantly, he can do painless anesthesia jabs. Which should be a standard, but it's not. He's using very strong anesthesia drugs, so I don't feel anything. I'm really happy how he restored my front tooth, which was very dark after old root canal and I didn't want a crown. So if you have a fear of dentists you should go to see Dr. McCarthy. He's amaizing. I moved to him from other Ennis based dentist and I'm really happy.
