  Cosy little cafe with great food close to the seafront which makes it a natural destination after a nice walk or great place to get some breakfast at the weekend and read the papers

  Great place for an early breakfast meeting. Also great for brunch but gets crowded as it is sooo popular

  Excellent coffee shop for a brunch with a family. They are serviable and never look down on a family with 3 running kids. Busy place on Sunday's and even if we asked to be sitter on 2 place table they have been happy to have us 5 .

  Sooo nice to be able to bring my (well behaved) dog inside on a cold day. Well done Cafe due Journal! Nice to know legislation changed on allowing dogs onto premises at discretion of restaurants.

  If you want a quiet, mature location, with staff who respect the need for alone time, this is your place. Great coffee, plenty of newspapers, intelligent atmosphere.
