A very nicely renovated Castle with a great amount of history. The cafeteria across the street is great and the castle grounds are very interesting.

We went there for a school tour, the guide was helpful and knew a lot and the castle was really fun to explore. Also has an extremely detailed model which is nice. Highly recommend visiting.

Worth the detour if you are in the area, the castle is in a beautiful village and is well restored. You can still see a lot of the original structure and the decoration inside really gives you a good idea of what living in there would have been like.

Now my view of this place is slightly tinted with emerald colored spectacles. My grandmother was born here and I had never been. I loved it and I got to meet my great Uncle. A small yet perfectly formed castle and restored to perfection. I am quite big so walking about the place brought it home how little people used to be. A great place to spend a couple of hours and drink in some history.

A beautiful maintained castle demonstrating various updates through its history. A very good diorama and explanation of the siege of the castle. There are lots of rooms and passageways to explore and ponder. Lots of potential for picnic days and shows on the green lawn. Hopefully the castle becomes more interactive. A lot of the walls and steps are closed off to public access. Denying people the chance to look over the walls. Not very much artefacts to see inside.
