  One of the best parts of our trip! We got caught out late on the opposite side of the country from where we were staying and we needed somewhere to stay. Luckily, our GPS found Carraig B&B and Mary was more than welcoming, especially for our late arrival. The B&B was in a perfect location as well. Just outside of Galway on a beautiful and quiet little street. Mary was so kind and her B&B was perfect. It was a lot nicer (and cleaner) than the other hotels we had seen and it was definitely a better price. I know a little part I was very grateful for was the wifi, as we're from the states and finding some wifi in other places wasn't easy or cheap. Our room was so spacious and up-to-date, and even had its own restroom. Mary made us feel so at home. She had a great breakfast ready for us in the morning and the view from the B&B was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we added Carraig B&B to the "Favorites" and "Accomodations" sections of the GPS we rented with the car. I hope other people will happen upon this B&B and have as great an experience as we did! Thanks again Mary!! -the McCarthys

  Une très belle maison, des petits-déjeuner excellents, un accueil chaleureux, une chambre confortable le tout à un tarif tout à fait abordable : parfait.

  This B&B was a great find (via Google maps) -a hidden gem, just outside Galway. We (family of 5) stayed in a spacious upstairs recently converted attic room (you wouldn't know there's an upstairs from the photos) -The kids thought the experience of that room was really cool & reported it was much better than any hotel we've been in! Mary was so kind & accommodating toward us -really made us feel at home. With a fine breakfast & good rates -this is one B&B we will be revisiting when in Galway & heartily recommend it!
