  Friendly staff, cosy seating...the starters were delicious - I had the garlic mushrooms and my husband had soup of the day which was lovely....our mains on the other hand were really disappointing....my husband ordered the pasta with 'fresh clams, seafood, etc." When it arrived it was over cooked spaghetti with a frozen medley of seafood like you get in the freezer section at the grocery, smothered in tomato sauce...the dish overall lacked freshness and just tasted bland.....I had 'Sicillian prawns with red peppers in tomato sauce' with a side of skinny fries....I don't get the Sicillian part of the prawns? It was tasteless prawns smothered in a thick sauce with soggy peppers lacking freshness...and thinking you can't go wrong with fries, they were lacking as well....again disappointing "Italian food" i think in general Castleknock is in dire need of a restaurant that is passionate about serving authentic, fresh, delicious food

  Car parking is available at rear of premises. Welcome at the door was excellent. Menus was extensive and contained both Italian and non Italian options. Prices were mid range and there were good specials and options. Service was very engaging and knowledgable. Atmosphere was very relaxed to have children in even at 8pm at night. Food quality was very good but as all food is freshly cooked a little slower than normal. Recommend

  Nice staff and good service here. Food really good and menu is varied. The early bird with a glass of wine or drink of choice from their selection is well worth it.
