We arrived with our son at 23pm now is 6am nearly, waiting room super dirty, only one doctor on duty we will be here probably another few hours, hard to get any information of nurses. I hope it's my last time here For 7hours sitting here nobody replaced the bin or sweep around. I've been advised also to back home and go to GP tomorrow, I had to add to my review That after being see by doctor everything was changed. After diagnosis all went very nice, nurses were amazing and very friendly with a lots of understanding and patience. I believe that it happened due to staff shortage, I've been told that there was only one doctor in emergency department. However the nurse who dealt with me was very root and not nice buy i cant blame the rest. That is my honest review, i had to add other part as after first bad review it wouldn't be fair and not giving clear picture

People of the laziest sort with no manners whatsoever working here, especially the fat lady at reception/emergency. The filthiest waiting room I've ever seen, perfect for sick children to get even worse (I'll post the pictures I took). I was there 4.20pm with my daughter with a high temperature, the doctor CLEARLY discharged us saying there was nothing in her throat or ears, and I just needed to keep her temperature down and the hospital would give us a call with the blood test results. No prescription with dosages of antipyretics or whatever. So we went home and got a call from the hospital saying they were looking for us! My daughter started burning in fever again despite being given three different types of antipyretic, so we head back to the hospital, where we wait for another 2 hours (like 2 hours isn't much, as suggested by the lovely fat woman), I went to ask the her when it would be my daughter's turn just to hear that every single person who arrived after us had been there longer than us! Sick joke, right? Same lady says WE HAD DECIDED TO LEAVE WITHOUT BEING DISCHARGED, and I'm thinking she's got to be as stupid as she is overweight. After 3h of waiting, what does the doctor say? That we only need to keep her temperature down because the blood test didn't show any abnormal levels of white cells (I wonder if anyone actually analysed the blood sample at any moment from midnight to 3am, because it wasn't ready when we arrived the second time). WE ARE DISCHARGED WITH NO PRESCRIPTION AGAIN. So, do you see a pattern here? We first got there at 4.20pm on one day and left at 3.00am the next day, with a child who still had a temperature and to top it all off she was now sleep deprived. Coming from a family of doctors and being a vet doctor myself, I know exactly what NOT to do in a hospital environment, but Crumlin clearly doesn't get it. Best of luck to all sick children coming here.

Amazing hospital with amazing doctors and nurses. Never have much faith in the irish health care systm but Crumlin hospital showed me that there is still at least 1 A1 hospital in Ireland. My 2 year was there to have a Hernia fixed and her treatment and care was 110%, the staff went out of there way to make her feel comfortable and relaxed. I really cant say a bad word about the place. Amazing care for children.

it's a disgrace what is happening here. Sent away back home because they could not find the appointment in the system although I have a text and letter confirming it. And A&E waiting time better not to talk about it, and the waiting room could not be any more crowded.
