Dear Vinnie, I can only thank you very much. I often use the internet to send flowers to my girlfriend, all over the world, but you are the one who gave me the best service. You answered my emails, you delivered in time, flowers were beautiful and fresh ... I will try to publish my comment on your website but once again you are truly and unquestionably the best of all the florists I have used! Congratulations and best regards. G. S. France

Very disappointed – not what I paid for & no reimbursement. Ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife’s office on Valentine’s day, asked they could be delivered by 4:30pm & they agreed. Instead they phoned my wife at that time & asked her to wait back an hour – which ruined the surprise & defeats the purpose of the activity. Then the delivery driver called an hour later & asked her to collect them from him away from her office along the Quays – she had to collect her own flowers so no delivery or novelty, would have been better if I gave them to her myself. Appreciate it was their busiest day of the year but they did commit to the delivery (near their shop) & charged me for it – I didn’t want or agree to anything else so should have contacted me to cancel if there’s a problem & I would’ve used any of the dozen other florists in the area, they are a business & need to stand by their commitments or not charge the customers. I phone afterwards advising this wasn’t what I paid for so am legally entitled to a refund / annoyed that I’m being charged for something I don’t want, they declined any kind of refund & instead offered a 25% reduction on the my next purchase with them – useless to me as only buy flowers once a year & not from somebody who charges me for something I don’t want. Understand they would make a loss now by refunding but that is the responsibility that comes with providing a service, if they simply cancelled when couldn’t meet their target that responsibility could have been avoided, instead the customer was ripped off & treated unfairly. Not worth pursuing a claim & didn’t expect much of an outcome but thought I’d ask for a refund anyway to see if they’d do the decent thing. Yes it was Valentine’s day but no NDA on a ‘best effort’ – they simply said they could deliver within the time & should have cancelled when couldn’t instead of taking our money. Those are the facts – buyer beware of City-Florist; should have heeded other reviews. ***Thanks for the derogatory remarks in response - just shows how professional you are. You lied too - phone call was at 2pm so had 2 & half hours rather than 1 you keep going on about; can prove that with a screenshot. You also lied about 'told we'd do our best but couldn't guarantee', and lied about me posting to facebook - this review is on Google. What is actually unreasonable is you not providing what you charged for but still withdrawing the money - that's called stealing. Not worth anymore of time - imagine the last positive review was written by your mammy!

Really disappointing service with no kind of apology received from them. I ordered flowers for my Mum on Sunday for Delivery on her birthday on Monday, as the shop does "same day delivery". The delivery was not received on Monday. I phoned them twice on Tuesday and twice Wednesday too, no answer and no option for me to leave a message. I also sent them an email directly on Sunday regarding delivery, and on Tuesday to follow up. No answer to either of these messages too. Embarrassingly, the gift arrived on Thursday afternoon. I live abroad and this was so stressful, my mum thought I'd forgotten her. They did not fulfill the ordered in a reasonable timeframe, and the lack of communication about delays on their end further complicated matters. I have never heard of a local bouquet delivery taking 4 days to fulfill, and that is not what I expected based on what they've advertised on their website. I choose the service because they do same day delivery in the city centre. I did not received any follow up call, or emails from City Florist and any kind of apology or response. This was the most stressful flower delivery order I have ever made.
