Great novelty, but in reality it is overpirced costume jewlrey. Was happy to pay the money as my partner is Australian, however she tried the ring on outside the door and realised it was too loose. Went back inside and in fairness - the staff tried to find the right size but when they couldnt, they refused refund. Better off going to a tourist shop rather than wasting money at this 'jewlers'.

While my family and I were in Galway on vacation my sisters and I all got jewelry from Claddagh Jewellers as a reminder of our trip together. Unfortunately, since this necklace was purchased in August, 2016 it has broken 4-5 times. I believe the necklace cost around $200 and every time I had to bring it in to get fixed cost me another $25. This pendant has a lot of sentimental value to me, but at this rate it is costing me at least a $100 a year to keep fixing. I have never had this problem with any of my other necklaces and it seems that the reason is because of how the chain was made. If I had lived locally I would of brought this back to Claddagh Jewellers and requested to exchange this necklace for a chain that was not as cheaply made. Even better, it would be lovely if someone could reach out and address my concern. Eva

*See info ad the end about paying in Euros or your home country currency.* I bought my wife a Claddagh ring and some other things for the rest of my family. The selection is good and you can get your ring resized there as well if they don't have one that fits. One thing I didn't like is when given the option to pay in Euros or USD they convinced me to pay in dollars. Being the first place we shopped at we had no clue which one to pick. After talking later with a waitress she told me why they wanted me to pay in dollars instead of Euros. It benefits them to do the conversion for us instead of letting your bank do it. It's really disappointing that such a nice place is trying to make a few extra bucks off of unwitting tourists.

I'm not sure what to think...They have a great selection and I received very friendly service in the store. I purchased a Sterling silver Celtic knot design ring early in June, and I loved it. However, the ring has gotten terribly scratched up after just a little over a month of normal wear. I'm very disappointed because I purchased the ring hoping to have it as a souvenir from my Ireland trip for many years to come...I wonder if there is some way to return or exchange it since it hasn't even held up for two months...

Speaking for the Dublin location. I've wanted a Claddagh Ring for months now and finally made it to Europe on business. I stopped in here to finally get my ring and found they had a half size up but not my size. I was heading out to Prague but would be back to Dublin in 3 days. They told me by time I arrived back in Dublin my correct size ring would be waiting for me, only problem was I was going to arrive after hours. When I did come back into Dublin I met the guy at a local pub and received my perfectly fitting ring! I couldn't have been happier with their level of service. Everyone in the store worked to best serve me and make me feel like a priority. I could have had it shipped but really wanted that authentic feeling of going home with my ring on my finger. I will certainly be purchasing all my Irish inspired jewelry from this location without hesitation. They are an amazing business with a product that speaks for itself!
