::Not the ritz but they do the basics very well. Bar has been refurbished and the food and service is very good. The room was very good for the price. The only negative aspect was the bathroom which was old and patched up in several places. Lots of layers of paint and caulk and the fittings have seen better days. Took away from the room which was very good for the price.

::Some really minor points of complaint, that aren't note worthy, things that make you ask why? However staff are very friendly, service is good, rooms are fairly clean and spacious. Main parts of hotel are quiet, decorated well, and we'll lit; reception displays thank you cards of past weddings which is a nice touch. Dinner Food is great, well priced and very tasty. Breakfast is good, sausages black/white pudding being stand out, bacon and eggs not as good. Leisure club not bad could do with a bit of maintenance care. Fantastic amount of facilities and some nice little touches here and there. Great value for money and quality of service overall. Would stay again !

::Nice hotel. Good sized room. Comfortable good sized bed..Food not cheap. Little over priced. Had to go somewhere else for dinner. Not a lot of healthy places nearby so went into the Arches which was better. The room was right opposite the gym so we could see what the people in the gym were doing and they us.. Gym was well equipped and swimming pool was nice. Only thing was the water in the bathroom wasn't hot enough if at all, and they give you too much on your breakfast plate. Got tea when we asked for coffee but apart from that was a pleasant night.

::Didn't enjoy the food previous to the wedding meal literally nothing on the menu for myself or my partner and our room wasn't ready when we arrived despite being told it would be. Had a good time at the wedding though most of the staff were lovely. I would go back just eat elsewhere
