  Bedroom was fine. Bar food and wine were tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. I was disappointed that TVs in bar/lounge area were tuned to a foreign news channel rather than local (RTE News Now) Irish channel. I was surprised and disappointed at additional car parking charges for hotel guests.

  Very pleased with the Clayton Ballsbridge. Excellent value per price compared to other hotels in Dublin. The building's architecture, inside and outside, is magnificent. There is a beautiful warm smell of freshly baked croissants in the hallway. The room was very spacious and the bed and pillows particularly comfortable. The hotel's distance from the city centre guarantees a very calm and green environment but it's also very easy to get to the centre through bus connections at the gate of the hotel. The breakfast is rich and of very good quality. Two improvements would have been appreciated: 1) Better placed electric plugs on both sides of the bed. 2) While the bathroom was cleaned very well prior to our check-in, the following days, it should have been cleaned more thoroughly in the morning make-out of the room during our stay.

  Nice hotel in Ballsbridge. My wife and I stayed here for the first time last weekend. The hotel has some quirky elements as it is a conversion. We loved it. We got an upgrade to the top floor. Room was not huge, but it's a city hotel. Bed was great and bathroom was spotless. Breakfast selection was good the following morning. We used the underground car park too. Nice staff, cheerful and friendly.

  Easy check in, met by Mary Rose would was very pleasant and helpful. Room is all we need, clean with comfy bed but not impressed with shower curtain. Hotel facilities lovely especially Grandstand Bar and Restaurant absolutely beautiful. Staff throughout hotel all very nice. This is our fourth stay in Clayton Ballsbridge and will stay here without hesitation next time we stay in Dublin.

  Lovely place to stay. Great location for city center. Room 371 had no air conditioning so had to ask for a fan as it's noisy if windows are open as it looks out to the court yard of the entrance to a car park. Room was simple, expected bit more from 4star.
