  Smashing hotel. I normally avoid large corporate types of hotels and prefer locally owned. Very clean, staff were superb and couldn't do enough for you. Bar prices are steep! Only niggle was room was sweltering. Would highly recommend

  Nice room, had a balcony and good view. Bed was comfy and lovely tv. Reduced rate parking. Staff were lovely and very helpful and were exceptionally friendly. Leisure facilities were nice, and had a lovely burger with a pint in their bar, which was very tasty and had a chilled vibe. Couldn’t say anything bad about the place.

  I booked my room at 4pm on the day. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely (I had a complimentary upgrade to an executive room, which was a nice surprise). All facilities were excellent and the breakfast was very nice. My only (very minor) quibble is that I asked for a dental pack as I had forgotten my toothbrush etc. The receptionist couldn't find one and told me she requested that housekeeping deliver it to my room. I never received this. Hence my rating for 'quality of service' - in all other respects, the service was excellent. Apart from that one thing, I very much enjoyed my stay and will stay at the Clayton in Cork City again.

  Great location...Friendly staff ..... Clean & comfortable room...Great selection for breakfast .... Parking good but €12 per night is expensive! Spa was only ok - I was cold during treatment - fruit on offer was poor (only apples & oranges - whole) ( would have preferred a better selection and have it cut up) and maybe have fruit juices instead of just water! A basket in changing room for robes instead of bringing it out to reception maybe! Overall enjoyed my stay, will return and will recommend. 😀

  The Staff are a credit to you. They were all very friendly and helpful. Reception was quick and friendly had a great size room for all of us.loved the treats and card. Lads loved the kids club. The meal was lovely, the bar staff great, pool perfect breakfast great and the checkout at 2 was great. The New Years Eve package was well worth it. Only thing was it would have been nice if there was some music in lobby area someone to play the piano as we had children with us and we couldn't hear the music from the bar but overall we had a great stay. Thank you Clayton for making our stay special
