my friend went and ask for a support as she was going to collect her stuff where she was living for a while ( hostfamily), They sent two cops at the address and when they arrived , one of the police man didn't want to listen our version and was very aggressive with us. We wento to ask for a help and we couldn't speak and say anything as the police give right to the landlady even if she was wrong and telling lies. He told us " you are wasting my time", I Think if the Garda station sent him there, he suppose to do his job without complaining to us and also demonstrate to be there to help and not to discriminate. I was trying to help my friend who doesn't speak and understand English and he was very very rude with all of us and told us " don't come back in this house anymore". He didn't know all the story behind this and he didn't have right to tell my friend those things. We are all still in shock how we were treaten by this police man. We have been treaten like we were robbers and we are absolutely not. The landlady had already packed the stuff entering illegally in the room of my friend when she wasn't there and they didn't care at all. They only cared about what this irish landlady was saying and because she was blaming some money which my friend already has given , they totally believed in her version and shout my friend mouth up. they forced my friend to pay this ammount and no receipt was given in proof of this payment and no proof either for the money the landlady was blaming for. We couldn't say anything do defend ourselves. This is not what we expected to find . Extreme no respect for european citizens . What a shame. The police man told us to go to a solicitor and complaining he didn't care about it as we were wasting his time.
