  Crowd funding in Ireland has now reached a new level with. iCrowdfund launched a flexible funding service. What I like about crowdfunding with iCrowdfund is that you get to keep whatever you are pledged. With most of the other crowdfunding platforms, they are All or Nothing, which means you have to reach your full target before you get any of the money pledged. iCrowdFund have a Keep it All service which means that you get everything that is pledged to your fundraising campaign. This will give charities, non-profits and start-ups a lot more confidence in crowdfunding systems.

With All or Nothing unless you collect 100% of the project target, you get nothing. With Keep it All the project owner gets to keep any funds pledged. iCrowdFund supports donation based and reward based crowdfunding. The reward based crowdfunding system is the most popular with project contributors as they are given something in return for their contribution. Reward based crowd funding is suited to the arts or any business where a voucher can be offered to the contributor.
