  Bought a laptop here a few years ago and was advised to buy an insurance package worth €250. Damage has since happened to the laptop and when I left it in at the shop to be repaired I find out the insurance doesn't cover accidental damage, even though I was sold the insurance specifically to cover this. To top it off, a legal battle will now be happening as the damage was not accidental, with the repair costs for the laptop being upwards of €500. Beware of this place and the false smiles they give you, this is a company to avoid.

  It says open and when I get there its closed like man at least make a normal timetable and show the correct opening and closing times. And why would u have 100 hour sale when you have the place closed down.

  I had a really bad experience with this store and pc world in general. Long story short I bought a levonovo laptop here, after a few weeks the screen was faulty, brought it back for a repair. They somehow lost the repair and then they somehow lost the replacement unit. After about 2 months I threw in the towel and had to demand a refund. Customer service in store was poor, I spent hours waiting to get through to their 'team knowhow'. The amount of people that were queing to bring back faulty goods when I was trying to get laptop issue sorted was crazy (about 5 in space of 40mins). Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

  I went there because I recently purchased some big TV screen. Well, I have to say it was online purchased not in that store. However, It is how my issues started. To begin with, I received an email saying PcWorld could not contact me to confirm the order, although I clearly mentioned on the online form my contact details I had to filled out beforehand. So some people in PCworld cannot read who are to lazy to do some effort to concentrate. I had to chase them all the way into UK to get thing moving. Then to add insult to injury, the delivery due time was delayed by two weeks! Just while you thought you reached the ultimate worst customer experience in your life, there were more to come...the employee's of the Jervis Store in Dublin showed such a lack of empathy & professionalism. The cherry of the cake?... well you have it, the store manager who was a total disaster by handling the issue and was prone to show he was actually an incompetent person to put it nicely. The only competent person at this store, happen to be a Polish employee who seemed very experienced and works in the know how technical side of the counter. So please speak only to him should you want some professional advise as well as your issue to be resolved! I gave 1 star because of the Polish guy otherwise would have been zero.

  Bought a new laptop and payed for Office and left it there over night as they offered to install it. When I went to use Word and Excel (which I needed immediately for work and college) it said my office hadn't been activated. I tried using my product key as it asked but said it was apparently an unlicensed product. I then tried to ring the shop, spent 10 minutes on hold and as soon as someone went to pick up, I was hung up on. Finally got through to a support service, nice man but couldn't actually help. It turned out currys should have given me a product key and an email to which my account had been set up to (which I got none of). Terrible service, I won't be using this shop again or recommending it.
