  We went to the clinic to see doctor Kinsella, after being reassured on the phone that we can be squeezed in between her appointments. After getting there, the receptionist told us that doctor Kinsella was fully booked and couldn't see us and that we could wait and be seen by doctor Bent. We agreed as it was a matter of urgency. Doctor Bent was friendly and efficient, he prescribed a bunch of antibiotics for me and my son in the first 2 minutes of our meeting. He did that without checking on me or the baby properly. Penicillin might be effective on bacterial infections, but has no impact on viruses. To be honest, I don't know how he was able to tell so quickly that our flu was due to bacteria. I guess he just wanted to be on the safe side. It didn't bothered me that much, but I expected more from him. This is not last century and we're not treating everything with antibiotics anymore. The other thing I disliked very much was that he said we could settle with him directly because the reception was "so busy" and he took the money and put it in his pocket without giving us a receipt for it. We didn't realize immediately, only in the car, on our way back home. I wasn't able to claim anything back from my insurance company because I had no receipt. I'm quite sure that money was not taxed, which makes it tax evasion, which makes it illegal and very unprofessional.

  Three weeks to get results on a simple blood test. No communication to the patient, except a "we don't have them yet" when we proactively reached out. Dr. Kinsella is great. The other staff and their approach don't belong in 2018. The only capable nurse works 1 days out of 5 and had exactly 3min to see us. No one took ownership of the issue and just shifted the blame around. Should've seen this coming: took 2 admins 5min to open 1 spreadsheet. We're simply never going back there again.

  Professional Caring Dr. Ciaran Bent has looked after my family for over 15 years and I cannot emphasise how fortunate we all are to have someone with his ability to hand. A True professional.

  Dr Bent and the team in the surgery are extremely friendly and professional. I've moved house a few times around Dublin and have attended a number of different practices and I have to say that Dr Bent and his team are the best I've ever attended and will continue to attend into the future. Their professionalism and warmth is second to none and fly the flag for excellence in the healthcare service.
