  I have attended this surgery for atleast 30 years now. I have never had any issues with staff either doctor or reception staff infact the reception staff are always so helpful and professional in every way. I believe if you treat people with common civility they will respond in the same way. I had the absolute pleasure ten years ago or more to meet my current Doctor "Dr Gordon Cantwell" I can honestly say I have met such a Decent Obliging Caring Trustful Open Reliable human being in all my life. Sometimes Reassuring Words and the Gift of a Caring Nature are more Healing than any Medicine. I believe we need more Doctor's like Gordon Cantwell. Denis Cleary

  Horrible horrible receptionists .. I left the practice as I could not take any more of their nastiness and the worst part of it all is that the Dr's think they are doing a good job ! They are rotten to the core.. one word springs to mind.. Horrors ! . I rang on numerous occasions on Monday mornings to book an appointment for Friday afternoons only to be told that Dr. Cantwell is booked out.. what kind of practice is that? Greedy Dr's overloaded with patient's..( greed comes to mind ) imagine ringing on a Monday morning to be told he's booked out for Friday afternoon! Those receptionists should be ousted out of there..I couldn't take there phone abuse anymore so I left the practice..Disgraceful behaviour.. Shame on you Mr.Cantwell for allowing this abuse on the phone and you taking the receptionists side. Three of those receptionists should NEVER be in that job.

  By far the rudest and most abrupt receptionist I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. The woman basically rushed me off the phone. Offered no assistance. I was looking for a travel vaccine and I had looked up the website before I rang, which has a section for travel vaccinations, so I thought I was ringing the right place. I will be making my feelings known to the doctor on my next visit. Take my advice, don't ring looking for a travel vaccination! Also, if anyone in this surgery is looking at this review - this took place at 3pm on 30/06/16.
