I brought my dog to Dspca Hospital when my mastiff began to limp. They informed my they will need to do an xray and to bring back my dog the following day. I brought my dog back in the morning and was told they will sedate him and perform the xray. i arrived in the afternoon to collect my dog and was informed they couldn't do the xray as the sedative didnt work and they gave me back a dog that could barely walk and some drugs for him and said if he continues to limp bring him back. 2 weeks later i booked in as the dog made no progress and ask to fully sedate my dog and perform the xrays as felt there was a serious issue. later that day i came to collect my dog and find out the results. They brought greg out and informed us that he had cancer and that was it. we asked for more information and options very little help was supplied. We booked into UCD Vet Hospital for profession help and arrange a consoltation appointment ourselves ( UCD were very helpful and super professional and said themselve they could reach DSPCA for information) we were fully insured but only follow up we got from DSPCA was where was their money and nothing about how is your dog. i felt DSPCA really let themselves down and will never bring another animal to them again. They are more interested in money then helping your animal and the standard of service and communication shown is truly shocking. If you feel your dog is unwell bring it to a different vet and get refereed to UCD. Avoid DSPCA

I visited this place last year when my niece Clare was volunteering here. The facilities are amazingly clean. The people in charge of the whole operation are extremely professional and friendly. It was very clear that the animals are treated extremely well. Go there and let yourself be adopted by a dog. I won't post any photos of the dogs because you'll go there immediately and want the dog and it will have already been adopted by a lucky household.
