  I mean after 20 years of loyalty to your brand i get treated like this! Its beyond a joke. I cant even imagine the amount of money i have spent with this network over the years and to just have my phone number taken from me without any notice didn't seem fair. I ended my bill pay contract with them after two years and tried to move to Tesco mobile and i was told my meteor number was declined due to Eir having cancelling my phone number as i decided not to choose a ready to go option with them. I had to get onto comreg and make a formal complaint in order to get my phone unlocked and i still have not received my original number back!! Beyond annoyed and angry at their customer service, no apology or any attempt to make amends for their wrong doing!

  We've been having broadband problems for months... The broadband will randomly turn off and back on, and will stay on for a minute, and then turn off again. This can go on for hours. Sometimes it doesn't even come back on for hours! We've had an Eir engineer come out 4 or 5 times to check our line. The first time he came out, he couldn't find a problem with the line. He told us it must be the internal wire going from the outside box directly into the modem. Changed that wire, didn't help. Next time he came out he said it must be the modem. Changed that, didn't help. Next time he came out, he said it must be the internal phone lines causing a fault, but he said he wasn't responsible for that. So, we paid 100 Euro for an electrician to come out and look at the wiring. Didn't help. So the past weekend another Eir engineer cam out and changed the line outside. Another 100 Euro! Didn't help! Also, when the broadband does decide to stay on we get about half the speed we should be getting. We're absolutely sick of it at this point. We don't know who is to blame for this, but ever since we went with Puretelecom we've been having this problem. Our contract is up soon, so if we can't get this problem sorted soon we will be ditching both of them and going with Vodafone 4g wireless.

  Calling themselves a communication company is beyond farcical. Spent 2 hours trying to get in touch with them via numbers supplied online, two of their stores and links that they provide via broadband data routers. Every phone call I made sent me through a maze of automation that all ended up stating that they could not help me at this moment in time before hanging up on me. I could not find a number or an option that led to an actual person anywhere! I have still not resolved my issue while they continue not to listen and send me around in circles by offering me the same useless suggestions and links. Disgrace of a company and one with which I will no longer offer my custom.

  As an eir customer I logged on my phone a problem with land line and broadband. I was in Galway city and called into eir store in shopping centre. Alan helped me get thru to the service centre and confirm when I would get an engineer to call out. He was really helpful
