  You have to eat here. You HAVE to eat here. I was famished after a bit of a drive and the Jameson tour. This restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from there. You walk in and you feel right at home. You can tell that everything is made from scratch and most likely DOES come from a farm nearby. I started with an incredibly creamy and delicious seafood chowder- studded with oodles of fresh fish, and then moved onto a Scallop Salad with bacon and other tasty morsels. So divine. Though I am not a big dessert person, i had to try some as there is a huge table of desserts right in the front of the restaurant that beckons you. I caved and ordered the creamiest, most decadent and lovely lemon pie tart that I have ever had. I am pretty sure they must add cream to the filling just for fun. I mean, it's Ireland and they add cream to everything. So. good. Go here. Eat and be happy. Have dessert. You won't be sorry.

  One of the best restaurants in East Cork, NO - in all of Cork. Really comfortable restaurant, interestingly located behind a very well stocked market stall, which you can purchase from (of course!) Menu is superb, staff very attentive, great wine list. Perfect for morning coffee, lunch, but most of all evening Dinner. No BS in this restaurant, just good old fashioned service with a smile and superb food. Free parking on the street outside of the restaurant.
