  Beautiful resort hotel and spa. Thoroughly worth the visit. The suites are stunning. Will definitely go back.

  A huge hotel, with most of the rooms and facilities built onto the original estate house at the front. The main thing I noticed was the army of staff that was always available, especially in the restaurants (there are 3) and spa which made you feel like you were always being looked after. The rooms are a good size and in decent condition. As a fan of a deep bath I found the water pressure and temperature a little disappointing, and the design with the plug in the middle made it difficult to properly relax in. The spa and pool facilities were all great, especially being able to swim outside. Treatments are quite expensive but of good quality. Breakfast options are comprehensive including hot and cold items. The food in the cellar bar was fine and it was better in the main restaurant. There are extensive grounds for walking and you'll get regular warnings that they can be muddy. This is definitely true so bring wellies if you really want to get out for a ramble. We went in January and couldn't get far on the trails. We had a pleasant stay overall, and would recommend it for a weekend break.

  The hotel is very nice and modern with excellent staff. Rooms are modern and comfortable with all the modern amenities. The pool and spa are located in the hotel but changing facilities and the pool itself are located over two floors which is a bit strange. We were there for a Christmas function, the food of a very high standard with generous portionsand was served promptly. A shuttle bus is provided to get to and from the car park which is very handy.

  The nicest hotel i have stayed in to date. From the lovely big rooms to the food and the pool and spa. There is a pool inside and outside. I know people say it very expensive but in the case i can defenitlay say " you get what you pay for" There is also a lovely nature walk around the grounds of the hotel. I would highly recommend.

  Excellent hotel, beautiful setting in 16th century Georgian house, which is so charming and romantic. The rooms are very comfortable, beautiful pool with our door pool with indoor and outdoor sun lounger to relax by the pool. If you fancy some training you can walk, jog or cycle through the estate woods with ancient beech, redwood, oak and other trees stunning. Also an indoor gym. The restaurant and the bars great for excellent food and drink. Well worth a visit.
