  Had an emergency puncture on the way to work. Fixed it in 10mins even though he was in the middle of another less time sensitive repair.

  Last week got caught out in pouring rain with flat tyre on the way to work at 7.15am . and noticed the bike shop was just opening up. The guy there offered to do the repair right away and got me going within 10 minutes. I had no cash at the time but he said to drop it in next time !!! Very trustworthy and great service.

  Bought bike from this shop on Saturday the 2 guys were really decent and knew their stuff. Friendly shop

  Hard to know how this shop survives with the lack of bike knowledge in it. Brought my road bike in for couple of bits so left it with them. One of the things I asked him to do was replace a spoke on the rear wheel that had snapped. When I got the bike he'd replaced the high-pressure rim tape with old-school standard rubber rim tape (I didn't know this at the time obviously). Went out for a training spin the next day and had a blowout which is when I found the wrong rimtape had been put on. It destroyed my tyre as well. Threw a new tube in and me n the bike limped on to the nearest bikeshop where I had to fork out cash to replace all plus labour. To compound all this, the wasted time cost me an extra hours cash for the babysitter. Went to the shop next day and he was clueless once I started discussing the issue with him, I'm talking eyes glazed over here. Had to argue the money back from him for his wonderful botch job. Could've and prob should've gone after more for the replacement tyre but I felt his head might implode with that news. I duly left and bought myself an ice-cream to make myself feel better again. Do not shop here.

  Went into to this place for a spare for my Trek MTB. Brought the bike up the few steps into the work area where the sole occupant of the shop was at the time, and was told by him in no uncertain terms to get back into the main body of the shop. As for the spare.. "No wouldn't have one of those. Sorry", I was told quite abruptly. No suggestions of where else I might try or an alternative. Wouldn't enter this place again for as much as a patch kit.
