::Absolute great fun! We went to the Giants Causeway and Carrack-a-Rede rope bridge with Tara as our guide and Peter as our driver. Tara is a small, adorable Irish woman who tells a great story about the history of Ireland and the divide between republican Ireland and Northern Ireland. She was witty, full of jokes, and down to earth. Absolutely enjoyed her as our guide. Peter was an incredibly skilled driver and I continue to be impressed at the turns he had to take the bus on. The trip itself is lovely, and by far the best things I’ve seen in Ireland were on this trip. Definitely want to bring hiking shoes, a packed lunch, and make sure you’re well rested (it’s a long day). The trip also makes a lot of smaller stops at some incredibly cool places. My only constructive criticism is that the wifi on the bus really isn’t good and our time in Belfast almost wasn’t even long enough to have dinner. But overall, I would highly recommend this day tour with Finn McCools. Great job all around.

::11 of us standing on the northern side of Parnell Square at 6.30 am on a rather brisk January morning waiting for our GOT tour. Finn McCools Tours had promised a great day out with them, and that is what we GOT. Irial and his driver (sorry, was it Patrick?) provided us with a wonderful day of driving (and it is a long day) up through the Irish Republic into Northern Ireland. Well chosen GOT sites with a great short stories on the history of Ireland all through the trip. Highly recommend this as a must trip even if you are not a GOTter. Go to the Korean Restaurant (Kimchi Hophouse)around the corner from the drop off point at Parnell Square if you are looking for something to eat after the trip.
