  I was buying a bed and feeling a little overwhelmed. Then I came to McGowans and got solid advice from David in the beds dept. I didn't feel like I was being sold to, just helpful and I got the bed I needed. Not only that, but we weren't sure if the bed size I was looking at would fit into my house. So David sent his delivery guys out to take a look and advise me further on the correct size to fit my house! You wouldn't get that kind of service at Harvey Normans I tell you.

  Poor customer experience! Paid over 6.5k for wooden floors and carpets. The sales person sold me oil for the floor that a specialist had to apply, at my cost and without me knowing it initially . Also the floors had to be buffed also at my expense of having to rent a machine. The wooden floors are also bouncy to walk on in parts and the doors needed to be shaved twice. SHOP ELSEWHERE as this place does not live up to its name anymore and the salespeople are VERY slow to ring you back after they have taken your money. Overall VERY disappointed with these guys!

  If you are looking for reliable and reasonably priced furniture and curtains it's the right place to go it has a curtain shop that sells everything for your windows and has the biggest range of products available that I have seen in any one shop and furniture and carpets. Rugs its a one stop shop for your home
