  If you like dive bars, this is a great spot to come for when you are out for pints. It's in Temple Bar but a bit out of the centre so it's not as mental as many of the pubs there. It is not that big, just one big room that was formerly a garage, henceforth the name, and it still is decorated like a garage for aesthetic effect. The staff are friendly and as an added bonus they have a Street Fighter II cabinet.

  The security man at the front door was very rude. I suggest you keep walking to any other bar unless you want to experience the attitude. No St paddy gear on st paddy’s day at a bar in Dublin. Give me a break.

  Great night to be had here, craft beers everywhere and the barmen are friendly and knowledgeable enough to have a chat with you about what's on offer

  Absolutely great spot, one of the last bars that you're aloud to have fun in without being told you've had enough. Which seems to mean you're barred in recent times. Great sister bar behind it as well to have a last one, called the workman's. Do mention you were at the garage when you arrive and you'll be treated well.
