  The sections of the store are separated by high frames that make it feel like a prison of similar. All black. The manager was unavailable. The checkout operator was unpleasant. So I left my intended purchases and went elsewhere. Won't go back. I gave one star because it doesn't do less. Worst Penneys I eleven been in by a big margin. Terribly disappointed. We had clothes picked out for all 5 of our children.....

  It has got pricey since Sports Direct took over and some everyday clothing is shocking pricey. However there is good value in trainers and work boots and upstairs in Heatons there is good value in toys, clothes, household items on a limited scale. Not the store it was I'm afraid.

  Heaton's has a good selection of items in all departments . The home section has all your home needs ,the ladies and children's clothing section have an ample selection of items but the one section which is lacking is the men's .There is a very poor selection of jumpers ,fleeces and t-shirts for men . The sports world store on ground level gas a great selection of all brands and pretty good value in sports wear

  I like the new refurbished Heston's, everything from basic good value brands to very high end brands . really nice store and if you can't find what you're looking for there are always plenty of floor staff to help. The only downside is that if you ever need to bring something back that maybe was the wrong size, even if they don't have the correct size you need, you will just get a credit note. It does state this on your receipt . I've seen quite a few angry customers at customer service.

  Heatons is fine for guick shopping of sleepwear etc. I was recently here with my daughter to get a suitcase and price was very reasonable. My husband likes this shop more since it became Sports Direct. Gets a lot of tops for golf here
