::We used a Hertz car from the Dublin AP for a week's driving vacay as part of a package which included a rental car. The Audi A1 was fine and the service people we dealt with were good. However, I wasn't happy with how they handle gassing the car at the end of the rental term. When we departed DUB on the first day the agent told me to "bring the car back empty" of gas, because they charge .99 Eurocents/ liter, compared to the average 1.34/liter around Ireland. When we were heading back to DUB on the last day I was reluctant to not put gas in the car, not being sure how much would be needed for the last leg of the journey. When we dropped the car off there was well over 1/2 tank left but we were still charged for a full tank. This rubbed me the wrong way to the point that it is unlikely I will ever use Hertz again...
