  Located on the Southside of Dundalk, on the old Dublin Road, it is easy to get to, with ample parking. If you're not driving to it, you will need to get a taxi if coming from the town centre. I have been here approximately 6 times over the last 12 months, for either an evening meal, or Sunday lunch. Every single time, the quality of the food and service has been brilliant, without exception. There is bar food and restaurant food available. Booking is needed for the restaurant, except on Sunday lunchtime. There is fantastic value for money to be had, with some great set menu prices, and the wine list is quite extensive. I can't wait to go back.

  Disappointing food. Calamari in uncooked flour, bread dips oily without flavour, steak with only chips (no veg, salad or tato) and peppered sauce was thick gravy with a peppercorn, fish&chips with salty mushy peas, just about cooked chips and tasteless fish batter (flour taste). Four small fish bits instead of a fillet. Presented in a small cooking tray that looked really minimal. Sausage & chips from kids menu... Handful overcooked cocktail sausages. What happenend since a year ago? It was good and plenty, and we were expecting the same. But now a huge let down! And the waiters are not bad but the service seemed to lack strong direction from a visible manager. Our group was seated in the bar section to be able to sit altogether, but we should receive the same service as in the restaurant. It felt like we were having bar snack and service... I prefer my food plated nicely on a normal plate, rather than in buckets, oven trays or on tree trunks. The menu is good but the execution was poor. The changes introduced since our previous visit did make all of us decide to have our parties elsewhere next time out... Sorry.

  Came here first time yesterday for their lunch menu - food was v. good. Often come here for dinner too. Service was under par. The young lunch time staff could take more initiative.

  Lovely food and friendly staff. Their €25 4course menu is great value!!

  Lovely Sunday stop for a family lunch. Great staff, high chairs for kids and all very tasty food options. Cosy too on a wet day like today. 👍
