  Hair-loss can be a distressing but inevitable prospect for many without treatment. When my hair started to thin at just 17, I was shaken, fearing that my new look may have been something that I’d just have to adjust to. Just a few months before my 18th birthday, I had begun to notice thinning in my hair; not feeling quite the same when I would run my fingers through it and noticeable patches appearing in certain spots. As the hair-loss progressed, one of the more prominent factors I would have noticed was that I couldn't grow my hair to any more than one or two (maybe three at a stretch) inches without it falling out. This was immediately obvious to me as I used to wear my hair longer than most lads my age. Following an encounter with a competitor which I can only describe as dismal, I was somewhat sceptical about investigating alternative options. However, from the moment I entered JK, I was immediately made to feel welcome and at ease. During my first consultation Jamie gave a comprehensive explanation of hair loss, laser therapy and costs. On the deduction that I could not afford to lose any more of my hair to DHT, I decided to sign up for a 16 week laser therapy course, which entails 60 minutes per week of laser, supplements twice per day as well as a shampoo and hair regrowth lotion. Being a full-time student living in Limerick, I had initially feared that laser therapy might not have been something that I could, at present finance. However, JK were very accommodating in offering to spread my payments over the 16 week course. My relatives and I were somewhat skeptical of the effectiveness of the treatment. However, I am now satisfied that the results of my laser treatment were worth every cent and minute spent commuting to and from Dublin. Overall, I found JK to be an excellent business in terms of professionalism, customer service and finance. For anyone experiencing thinning hair, I would strongly recommend a consultation with JK.

  Unbelievable. The hair system is incredible. Not only changes your appearance but also your mood. Makes you feel a lot more confident and happy with yourself. The service is excellent. It's a simple process from start to finish. Baldness isn't a pleasant part of anybody's life. The hair system takes years off your appearance and also your personality. My biggest worry was what if it doesn't work. Or what if it was noticeable. It's not noticeable and it's a life changer. But it's money well spent. I can't recommend highly enough .

  I wasn't particularly bothered about being bald, but I had started feeling that I didn't look like 'me' any more. If I got suited up for a special occasion, I didn't look as though I had really put in any effort because my patchy hair was a mess. I'm no oil painting so I needed all the help I could get. I had a look online and JK Hair seemed to get good reviews everywhere. So I paid them a visit. Jamie had a chat and explained the process of using a hair system. Two pieces, tailored to my hair colour, density and shape would be purchased and I'd attend every month for a switch between them. I went ahead with it and it was brilliant. I got used to wearing the pieces very quickly and they're so well attached that there's simply no way they'll come off. People said I looked much younger, and people who hadn't seen me for a while knew I looked well but couldn't figure out why. 'New glasses? ' You only live once, and if you're bothered by your hair loss, I think this is the only solution. I was never convinced by transplants and I'm still waiting for the miracle cure. In the meantime JK are excellent. Great advice and care every time I attend. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

  Started with laser treatment in late February. I was following the suggested treatment of laser once or twice per week (one hour in total per week), using minoxidil and supplements both in the morning and evening. I didn't even realize how bad my hair was, until seeing the improvement in the pictures after just two months. I literally didn't recognize myself from the scalp picture. Good thing is I decided to do that still early in my life (I turned 24 last week). Final pictures were taken few days ago. There wasn't such a big difference from April to July, as it was from February to April. But the hair still improved and even my hairline got better. I wasn't expecting such good results to be honest. The only thing I would say kind of bothers me is that my hairline won't improve much more anymore (the rest of the head with hair looks great). My advice for everyone is if you notice your hairline receding and your hair in general getting thinner, start with the treatment. My hairline doesn't bother me that much because I'm covering it with my current hairstyle, and I even got complimented for it. At the moment I just have to keep using the minoxidil and supplements so my progress doesn't reverse. Thanks again to both Jessica and Jamie and all other staff.

  I started my journey with JK hair replacement 6 months ago. I can say that the management and staff of JK are the most professional individuals I have ever dealt with. My self perception had been at an all time low prior to having my consultation with Mr Kidd. He has helped me tremendously. Mr Kidd as I have told him has magic in his hands. I was completely bold prior to undertaking the decision of a Hair treatment with JK. I now have a full head of hair, my self image has improved greatly and I am very grateful for JKs help. I thank you all for your help, assistance and personal approach. 5/5 is the score.
