I would highly recommend this garage. After having some car trouble on my way to Sligo for work at 9PM traveling alone, John was out to me and had my car on the tow truck in no time, really putting my mind at ease. John went out of his way to help me and made sure I had my car back the following day for my trip back to Dublin. Charged extremely reasonable. Can't recommend enough

This garage was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend this garage to anyone having car troubles. John and his employees got me out of a serious hole and went out of their way to make sure I had my car up and running as soon as possible and even worked past normal working hours to ensure this. I found the staff very helpful and friendly and their prices are cheaper than anywhere else I was quoted in Sligo. Thanks John & staff

Needed a small job done on the car & went to Scanlons after someone recommended them. Ended up getting the job done for a much less price than other garages had quoted. Will definitely me back

Been goin to Scanlons for years. All the staff are very friendly & helpful and have saved me a fortune in comparison to quotes from other garages. I’ve learned a lot from them over the years as John always takes the time to explain exactly what he’s doing. Can’t recommend them highly enough

Left my car in for repair with a suspected blown turbo. Was told they had hooked it up to the computer and that the engine had blown and quoted 2-3k for a new engine. Said that I'd collect it, and was discouraged from doing so. After 6 or so weeks I just turned up with a jeep and car trailer to move the car. Was charged 40euro for the diagnostics before they'd give me the keys. Whilst loading the car, we were threatened by the autopaint body repair guy, who could clearly see what we were trying to do for blocking the gate momentarily. Brought the car to a different mechanic who confirmed that only the turbo had gone. Nothing wrong with the engine whatsoever. So the 40 euro on the diagnostic was worth every penny. 400 euro to repair in the end. On the whole, these guys are very shady imo. Would not recommend.
