  Wonderful family vacation at this just re-opened Castle resort, The woodland and golf course are beautiful along the drive up to the castle with spectacular medieval gardens surrounding the castle.Luckily it was sunny over weekend it was nice and bright with woods and greenery around. Comfortable room and easy access to golf course. 10/10 score to them. cheers

  Kilkea castle golf club is one if the nicest places I have visited .a beautiful castle will greet you on a lovely avenue.the golf course is in peak condiction.greens 100% perfect .lovely staff all round. A Beautiful clubhouse.it's a must visit for any golfer .

  We used to have our Christmas dinner here a long time ago. Great memories. We love walking the grounds and can't wait for the finer weather when they might open the gardens to the left of the front

  It was an honour to have a sneak peak of the beautiful Kilkea Castle in County Kildare, Ireland. The Castle will host it's first wedding in November and will open to the public in March 2018. They have been busy preparing the rooms in the castle, court and lodges. The rooms in the castle itself were tastefully decorated with marble bathrooms in each suite. Some rooms are grand and others are cozy but all had spectacular views of the grounds, gardens or the championship golf course. Many details have been carefully restored and renovated like the crown molding and would paneling. The Castle Bar and upstairs dining room and sitting room are a treat in classic comfort with high-back velvet seats and satees, rich upholstery and stunning chandeliers. Their is a Championship parkland style golf course with a small river and a few lake hazards added to make the course challenging. This is a great location for special family gatherings, small intimate weddings or a weekend getaway. Just 60 minutes from Dublin it is a world away.
