  This place was in a nice location and convenient. Lobby was petty, but lobby staff were not the most welcoming. The room (executive level) was not that clean and a service employee used a key and walked into our room without knocking, with the intention of "leaving an info pamphlet!" That was unnerving. Even if he thought the room was vacant, he didn't use a discretionary knock! Carpet was stained. Throw pillows and chairs looked worn and soiled. The view of the river was worthy of complement. The food buffet on executive floor was rather sad and didn't seem very hygienic. Overall, I wouldn't return if other choices available.

  I recently joined the Energize Health Club in the Strand Hotel in Limerick and in my opinion it is the best health club in Limerick. Have started my second year at Energize and really enjoying it. Stroll along O'Callaghan Strand and gaze at the City Skyline and the Majestic Shannon.

  Excellent hotel with very professional service. Hotel room was to a very high standard. Stayed in the hotel for my graduation, a plate of treats was left in the room saying congratulations. Little touches like that would definitely make me stay again.

  Truly one amazing hotel. Very welcoming staff. I ordered food in the bar where I was greeted by a very friendly bar man called Daniel extremely polite and very helpful I had explained to him that may daughter was after having a baby in the hospital across from the hotel and explained to him that the food wasn't great there and I wanted to get her a great meal and he reassured me that he would tell the chef which in my eyes was very professional in every way Keep up the good work everyone Ye are amazing.

  Excellent reception staff, v welcoming and super helpful. Lovely warm relaxed atmosphere in hotel. Fab hotel. Lovely rooms. Great location to stay in and all amenities are on doorstep. Great location to access fab Limerick city. Limerick city is a super place to go to. Seriously friendly locals and excellent choices of restaurants and bars. Really Lovely city. Would highly recommend The Strand to stay in and Limerick as a destination.
