Went for afternoon tea there and it was absolutely stunning! The sandwiches were beautiful and there was a great range of desserts. A nice twist was that they served the scones with a gorgeous gooseberry jam, which at first I was apprehensive about, but it was divine! What really made the experience was how kind and welcoming the staff were. I would 100% recommend going here and will be back as soon as possible!

Very poor. Sunday lunch €40pp, starter was a buffet style- which was fine, some elements very tasty. Main selection was poor- lamb or cod, but reasonably edible. Dessert was a dissster- buffet style again. Service very disappointing - originally placed a table of 9 in a conservatory in mid December- all members of the party were freezing including a 90 year old lady! Once moved inside, we had to make continuous requests for cutlery, cups and drinks etc. Coffee and teas served out of a plastic flask jug (carafe) - self service. We were appalled. Milk served in a plastic container. Coffee and tea were sitting out for hours. Very poor service, poor meal, nice location but will certainly not be returning. Very poor does not deserve its 4 star reputation.

Beautiful, authentic experience, a must-do! I was lucky enough to have my wedding there- couldn t have asked for more, the venue, food, service and especially the warmth and generosity of the O'Callaghan family was unbeatable! For afternoon tea, a weekend break, family holiday or wedding- unmissable!

Nice country Inn, far away from everything. Tea time was excellent, the staff is attentive, and the homemade cider and apple brandy is fantastic! The first room we were in didn't have wifi as the extender didn't reach that far,and they moved us immediately. They even offered the bridal sweet for our troubles. Really great gesture and service.
