  Had lunch in here with a friend. Two "joint of the day" which was Turkey & Ham and two pints of beer. Total cost was 33 euro. Food was excellent and plenty of it, service was quick including being seated. The seating area at tables down the back of the bar was quite small but the turnover of tables was very quick with a lot of business people just having a quick lunch. There was a large seating area at counters in the front section and there was plenty of staff working. Very efficient professionally run bar.

  Came in for dessert and drinks. Service was fast, food was amazing. Had some warm port which was perfect for the chilly day. Awesome place

  This review is for the Tea Rooms (the same premises access from Kieran Street). I love coffee and the food here - it's always top-notch. I like the atmosphere of the cafe, and also the whole street (Kieran Street) it's located in. The one problem with Marble City is just the lack of space. The interior is beautiful but tiny; very cramped. Outside is usually where we end up sitting. Still, when anyone asks me to recommend a cafe in Kilkenny, Marble City Tea Rooms is always my first choice.

  Am a weekly visitor to Tea rooms with husband & 3 small people....have never once been disappointed with the food or service It is always excellent. Have to give a special shout out to Aggie who has been there since forever. No matter how busy it is she always shows & maintains absolute control & organisation & will have a friendly hello for each & every customer. This place is a gem.
