  The setting of the campus is stunning with its utterly beautiful ancient buildings. Prices are very competitive. Rooms are clean and tidy, but don't expect a 5-star hotel. The accommodation is perfect for a stay in Maynooth.

  We booked a night in the Maynooth Campus Apartments, which is advertised as St Patricks College. Firstly, while the booking sheet says this, the apartments are actually on the North Campus. There are no signs to the accommodation office when you get there, so you end up driving around for ages to find where to get your key. The apartment rooms are basic but comfortable - once you find them! However, there are no staff around at night and while we were there there was a party of kids making a terrible racket at night and no-one was stopping them. If Maynooth university is going to rent out its rooms to the general public, they need to take care of the public by providing good guidance to the rooms, and some sort of night porter to keep control and let in poeple like th eguy who woke us at 0430 because he had locked himself out. Although it was cheap, it wasn't good value.
