::McDonalds Cavan is by far the best! It makes gorgeous fish o filet meals and the staff are always friendly and helpful! Coffee is great too!!

::Stopping for a Big Mac and fries is handy at this venue. Friendly staff, lots of internal and external seating make for a pleasant stop. Recently refurbished there is lots of parking, wheelchair access, drive thru, and a service station nearby where your car needs will be met. Exiting the site can be tricky, so even if heading for Dublin it is handier to veer left for the roundabout than wait for a gap in the usually heavy traffic. Caution: check your order when using drive thru.

::I didn't like the new layout, it was too open where as there used to be little areas you could sit in and not feel like everyone could see you or hear your conversation. The new system for ordering is OK but we were sitting in and orders made after ours that were for take away were served a lot quicker. I had to go looking for our food. Also seems like there's less seating. Not a fan of the tablets for the kids but that's a personal thing.
