  Almost feels wrong to give 5* to a tourist trap, but the Temple Bar area of Dublin has a lively feel and ample shops and restaurants within a 2 minutes' walk. Even if you're sick of tourist traps, swinging through for a few minutes is well worth it, just to see the spectacle. You can then be on your way three minutes later and away from the horde of tourists. Go during daylight hours to avoid the drunken tourists, or go at night for the pretty lights, and deal with the drunken crowd...

  Lovely market here at weekend. Had a tasty burger 6e and a delicious biscuit cake 3.5e. Go try it!

  Really nice place to sit down and relax. Shaded and sometimes covered with its retractable roof (handy for a rainy day!). Good photo galleries and the Irish Film Institute (IFI) on the square too.
