  After reading the reviews on Tripadviser we were shocked at our experience at Michie. Be aware this is a chain and this particular location has only been opened since September. Although there were only 3 tables seated the kitchen managed to bungle our order twice. The tuna sashimi was not fresh seemingly days old and rubbery. The eel still had bones in it and had to be sent back. The size of the maki combo rolls was amateurishly huge consisting of mostly rice. I'm told I have a big mouth but I wouldn't have a hope given the size of some of the pieces. As for the flavour of the rolls we could manage, the combinations were mediocre at best. If not for the nice yet apologetic service I would have rated 0 stars.

  Delicious food and wonderfully friendly staff. The vegetable tempura is my favourite but there's so much more to try out on the menu! Hmm, will have to plan a return trip...
