::What an amazing hidden gem. I never would have thought the sleepy village of Castlegregory would be the home of, honestly, one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. We arrived with a party of 10 which the hostess, Caitlyn, cheerily accommodated in the loft area. Caitlyn is an absolute delight and throughout our visit was attentive and accommodating and a delight with her dry Irish humour! The tomato & red pepper soup as our appetizer was beyond description (we attempted to ply the recipe from Katelyn to no avail). Amongst our party we ordered the hake, the chicken, the lamb, and the steak. Everything arrived hot and fresh and well presented. The portions we're perfect and the food was exceptional. And the potatoes deserved special mention: delicious beyond compare. The desert options were perfect: the Baileys cheesecake was light and fluffy and decadent. Our experience was so amazing we've returned 4 times during our 1 week holiday in Castlegregory, and each experience exceeds the last, both in food and in service. Milesian is not just the best restaurant in Co. Kerry... Milesian may very well be the best restaurant in Ireland.

::I highly recommend a visit to Milesian on any visit to Castlegregory. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and affordable dining experience. The restaurant was warm, welcoming and had plenty of character. The service from waitresses Ciara and Caitlyn was informative and organized. The food was beautifully presented, tasty and quick to the table. Compliments to the chefs. I hope to be back soon.

::The Milesian just recently reopened with a new owner. We were some of the first to eat there last week. Great service, excellent tasty food with really good vegetarian options. Will definitely be back.
