  To recount my experience with "Modern Tyres": The wheel nuts on one wheel were so tight that I could not loosen them with my wheelbrace, in order for me to replace the wheel with my spare, which had more tread on the tyre. I had hoped to get another couple of months of driving before needing to purchase new tyres. On passing "Modern Tryres" in Sligo, I noticed that the place was empty and thought that the mechanic would happily oblige by loosening the nuts for me with the pneumatic tool at his disposal. However, when told that this would cost me 20 Euros, I decided, otherwise, on calculating that each nut would cost 5 euros to loosen. Consequently, I wouldnt consider buying tyres from "Modern Tyres", in the future, if this were representative of their charging (overcharging) policy for fitting. Such "greediness", is disappointing for a new business that hopes to establish itself in a competitive market.
