  Visited here as it was recommended as a good place for Irish music. There was a good atmosphere but it was very cramped. The music didn't start until around 9.30 but anyone arriving after about 8 didn't get a seat. The music was great but was often drowned out by a few local lads getting carried away! Drinks were expensive even by Dublin standards - a small rum and 2 soft drinks almost €12.

  Traditional Irish pub w live music . Gets really crowded at night. There's an indoor pub and outdoor beer garden . The music on Sunday at 1 was really amazing. Great location. Stayed at the hotel upstairs which was really nice and convenient. We loved it

  Great traditional bar, lots of locals, fabulous Irish drinking songs and traditional tunes. We had a fabulous time. The performers just sit amongst you in the seats and when they found out my friend and I were guitarists, they demanded we sing a few songs! What an experience!

  We seem to hit this pub every time we're out around St Stephen's Green for working dinners. The old outside alley area that's now covered is my favorite section since it's a bit quieter and it's heated in the winter from various overhead units, making it warm almost to the sidewalk. And the locals always say this place pours one of the better pints of Guinness in town. Tastes good to me :) I've never ordered food, so I can't speak to that, but there's usually room to get in and get a pint and quiet enough to talk to friends.
