  More caff than cafe.......not a barista in sight thank god. Tea or coffee, fry and a slice. Nobody cheesily smiling at you and telling you to have nice day. They have a hot plate and a microwave for lunch. They sell chips.Cake shop too. What more could you possibly want?

  I have honestly never seen a ruder encounter as I have in this cafe, a little boy of five came in and was so excited to buy his little cake and the ignorant woman behind the counter ignored him until walked out cakeless...he came back and she still ignored him as she was too busy texting, my husband stood up and she then acknowledged him, she still was beyond rude to this sweet little boy. I will never come back and will tell everybody about it as how dare somebody treat a child so badly. Besides that the rest of the staff could learn to smile and a bit of customer service wouldn't go a miss.

  I've never come across a ruder bunch of incompetent staff in my life. And I've been here more than once, which is unfortunate for me. They don't listen to orders, look past you when you're speaking and generally leave a bad taste in your mouth. Which is a pity as the bakery goods are fantastic.
